Terms of service

The rules for using NightShiftLines: 21+, information and entertainment only, no betting advice.

These terms are an agreement between you and NightShiftLines ("NightShiftLines", "we", "us"), based in North Carolina. By using nightshiftlines.com, our emails, Discord or any paid membership (together, the "Service"), you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use it

  • You must be 21 or older and able to form a binding contract. We may ask you to confirm your age and close any account we believe belongs to someone under 21.
  • You're responsible for following the laws where you live. Sports betting is illegal in some places. We don't take bets, hold money or place bets for anyone.

2. What the Service is (and isn't)

  • NightShiftLines publishes sports analysis, simulations, fair-price estimates and our own graded picks for information and entertainment.
  • It is not betting, financial, investment or legal advice. No pick, sim, hit rate, edge or price is a promise. Sim numbers are model estimates that can be wrong, and lines move after we publish.
  • Past results don't predict future results. Our record page grades every logged pick; marketing may show selected highlights, and when it does it says so.
  • You alone decide whether and how much to bet, and you're responsible for every bet you place and any loss.

3. Accounts and VIP codes

  • Keep your login and any VIP or invite code private. Codes are personal, can't be sold or transferred, and we can revoke a code that is shared publicly or abused.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account.

4. Night Shift membership and billing

Paid plans, prices, renewal, cancellation and refunds are covered in our Membership and billing terms, which are part of these terms. Key points: monthly plans renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel online anytime; the season pass is a one-time payment and does not renew.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, resell, republish or share members-only content (including posting it in groups, Discords or tipster services) without our written permission;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service, or use bots against our forms or endpoints;
  • probe, attack or overload the Service, or try to get around access controls or paywalls;
  • use the Service for anything illegal, or to market gambling to anyone under 21 or anyone who has self-excluded.

6. Our content and yours

  • The site, sims, models, graphics, videos, logos and text are ours or our licensors' and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them for your own non-commercial purposes.
  • Data sources are credited on the site (for example nflverse, CC-BY 4.0). Team and league names are used only to identify games; we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, player or sportsbook.
  • If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.

7. Third-party services

Links to sportsbooks, prediction markets, payment providers, Discord or social platforms are governed by those parties' own terms. We aren't responsible for them. If we ever earn commissions from links, we'll label them where they appear.

8. Responsible gambling

Bet only what you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER or see our Responsible gaming page. If you've self-excluded anywhere, please don't use betting content, and tell us if you want your account closed and emails stopped; we'll do it.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT ANY DATA, PRICE OR RESULT IS CORRECT OR TIMELY.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE AREN'T LIABLE FOR ANY GAMBLING OR TRADING LOSSES, OR FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You'll cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Ending things

You can stop using the Service and cancel anytime (see the billing terms). We can suspend or end access for breaking these terms, with a pro-rated refund of prepaid fees if we end it without cause.

13. Disputes

> ATTORNEY DECISION: governing law, venue, and whether to use arbitration with a class-action waiver. Arbitration clauses have specific enforceability and notice rules; don't add one without a lawyer.

These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, contact us at hello@nightshiftlines.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll post the new date here and email members at least [14] days before they take effect. Using the Service after that means you accept them. Price changes follow the billing terms.
